Zebras by Mara River, Kenya:

The vanguard of the Serengeti migration, Burchell’s zebras pause at the banks of the Mara River in Kenya for a drink, wary of crocodiles which lurk in the shallows. Many a crossing zebra has been killed by an
18-foot croc lunging at it as it makes its way across. A Nikon F3 was used with Kodachrome 64 film and a 200mm Micro-Nikkor lens.

Leopard in tree, silhouetted against sunrise:

The quintessence of a solitary mammal, an adult leopard rests briefly in a tree at dawn in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Only one photo could be taken before she jumped down and disappeared. A Nikon F3 was used with Kodachrome 64 film and a 600mm f4 Nikkor lens.
